ANTH 451 - Cultural Ecology

Considers the range and variation of the relationships between humans and their habitats throughout prehistory into the present day. Illustrates the dynamic interplay between culture, society, physiology, settlement and subsistence practices, technology, and the natural and built environment. Draws case studies from a range of ethnological, archaeological, ethnohistoric, and current perspectives.Prerequisite(s): ANTH 213 ; or ANTH 211  or ES 103
