ENG 295 - From Grammar to Style


4 credits
Takes a rhetorical approach to grammar as tools, not rules. Emphasizes the range of grammatical choices available to writers, and the effects of those choices on readers. Students build skills and confidence as writers, while learning about the history and social context of Standard Written English. Approved for University Studies Explorations - Strand E. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of the University Studies writing requirement.
