The increasingly critical role of information systems within organizations has created a strong demand for graduates who are knowledgeable about both information systems and business. This certificate program provides students with the opportunity to gain expertise in business software applications and to develop an in-depth knowledge of organizational information systems. Students enrolled in this certificate program will choose a focus area in either Accounting Information Systems (AIS) or Management Information Systems (MIS).

The AIS option provides students with the accounting and technical skills necessary for successful careers in accounting and accounting information systems in today’s technology-oriented marketplace. The MIS option includes a combination of applied and theoretical courses in business computer applications, programming, analytics, and the development of information systems. This option equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a variety of careers in business and data analytics.
