The Department of Art and Art History’s Digital Art and Design Minor provides the opportunity to develop valuable visual communication skills in the digital media arts. This program is open to students from all academic areas of Southern Oregon University who want to acquire a working knowledge of how digital media content is conceived, planned, constructed and produced. The minor is focused on the relationship between art, design and technology. Additionally, the program develops the student’s capacity for critical thinking and problem solving through project based learning. Students must meet all applicable requirements listed in the Minors section of this catalog, including the Minor residence requirement.
(Not available to art studio majors.)
