Students at SOU may complete coursework in preparation for application to physician assistant programs. A bachelor’s degree is required for some programs. Required courses include Principles of Biology, General Chemistry, Psychology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology. Recommended electives include Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Statistics.
