BI 434 - Plant Form and Function 5 credits Examines the functional characteristics of vascular plants through the study of anatomy, morphology, and physiological ecology. Investigates the anatomical characteristics and physiological mechanisms that impact plant performance and survival, as well as adaptations to resource and environmental variation. Two 4-hour lecture/laboratory sessions. Prerequisite(s): BI 211 , BI 212 , BI 213 . Junior standing or above. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
