CH 330 - Metals and Civilization 3 credits Examines the influence of minerals, metals, energy, and natural resources, including their role in invention and innovation on the development of civilization. This interdisciplinary course addresses geology, history, archaeology, invention, and adaptation to resources in the world around us. Three 1-hour lectures. Approved for University Studies (Integration - Strand H). Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above. * This course was formerly offered under a different number; students who took the following course(s) will not receive additional credit unless the course is stated to be repeatable in the description above: G 330.
