COMM 345 - Introduction to Cybernetics & Cyberculture 4 credits Students learn how cybernetic technologies have developed and become incorporated into everyday life and culture. This course interrogates emerging common wisdom about these new technologies, and discusses the significance of cultural issues such as post-humanism and cyborgs in popular culture. Prerequisite(s): EMDA 201 or EMDA 202 or COMM 215 or EMDA 203 or EMDA 204 or EMDA 461 .
