BA 110 - Introduction to Business 4 credits Covers the structure of business organizations by taking students through each of the functional areas of business: management, marketing, finance, and accounting. The purpose of the class is to familiarize students with basic business principles with an emphasis on ethics and social responsibility. Introduces the interrelationship of business, government, and society. Students will also become familiar with the major sections of a basic business plan and the key elements found in each section. Required business core course to be taken in the freshman year. Approved for University Studies (Explorations). Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
