BI 444 - Vascular Plant Identification and Field Botany
4 credits Covers identification of local flora using technical keys and descriptions in a field setting. Emphasizes the recognition of common families, genera, and species of flowering plants, ferns, and conifers. Two lectures and one three-hour field trip per week.
