ED 348 - Special Studies: Children with Disabilities and Their Families 3 credits Explores how teachers engage children with disabilities in the classroom. Includes adapting indoor and outdoor environments and activities and covers working with parents to enhance the development of children with a variety of special needs. Applies understanding of disabilities and research-based best practices into the classroom setting in collaboration with parents and other professionals to provide meaningful experiences for children with special needs. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
