HST 320 - Religion in America 4 credits An exploration of the role religion has played in American history since pre-Columbian times. This survey will include religions of semitic origin (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) as well as non-Western faiths such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and various Native American religions. Class Restriction: Junior standing or above, or permission of instructor. Approved for University Studies (Integration-Strand J). Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above or HST 250 or HST 251 .
