SPED 533 - Behavior Management 4 credits Introduces the theory, vocabulary, principles, and techniques for fostering a learning environment with a positive atmosphere. Includes a variety of management models, ways to preserve the dignity and human rights of students with disabilities, and legal and district policy responsibilities regarding behavior and behavior management. Students learn strategies for assessing individual and group behavior and apply theories to develop behavior management plans for both groups and individual students. Intended for students in the Added endorsement program. Graded (A-F) only.
