BI 355 - Pathophysiology and Pathogenesis

Covers the function of the human body in a disease state and the mechanisms used by microbial agents to elicit these diseases. Diseases prevalent in the 21st century that present high morbidity and mortality and/or a great burden on human health are emphasized. Prerequisite(s): either BI 214  or BI 351  and either BI 233  or BI 314 .
