CCJ 387 - Law Enforcement Test Prep 4 credits Examines the testing process for careers in law enforcement. Involves task analysis of the hiring process for law enforcement agencies. Covers: the written test, the oral board interview, the assessment center (B-Pad), the physical fitness/agility test (ORPAT), background investigation, psychological evaluation, and medical and drug screening. Exposes students to memory retention, geographical orientation, forms, reports, writing skills, nutrition, daily physical agility, time management and test taking strategies. The class ends with two practical scenarios, where the student is tested in the areas of the oral board interview and group assessment center. Prerequisite(s): CCJ 241 . Graded (A-F) only.
