MTH 343 - Applied Statistics 4 credits The objective of this course is to acquaint students with an assortment of intermediate statistical methods for data analysis and modeling to explain real-world problems. Topics include: Data Types, Numerical and Graphical Exploration of Data, One Factor and Two Factor Analysis of Variance, Chi-square test of goodness of fit, Chi-square test of independence, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and F tests, and nonparametric statistics. Prerequisite(s): MTH 243 . Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
