Explores and applies principles and applications of chemistry for science majors. Emphasis on atomic and molecular structure, periodic properties of elements, models of chemical bonding, and molecular geometry and its influence on molecular properties. Prerequisite(s): MTH 111. Corequisite(s): CH 227 and CH 227R.
