ES 481 - Geomorphology 4 credits Provides a systematic and quantitative study of terrestrial processes, with an emphasis on the evolution and interpretation of landforms. Topics include the history of geomorphology and an assessment of the processes associated with mass wasting, rivers, glaciers, deserts, and shorelines. Students should be familiar with basic logarithms, trigonometry, and topographic-map-reading skills. Prerequisite(s): ES 101 . Approved for General Education: University Studies - H Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
