IS 250 - Introduction to International Studies 4 credits Introduces students to important tools for understanding global issues and international affairs from different perspectives, and examines ways in which different disciplines adopt geopolitical and sociocultural approaches to global and international issues in different world regions. Students engage in multidisciplinary exploration of selected contemporary regional and global issues. The course presents the world as an integrated and interdependent set of global systems. Approved for General Education: University Studies - F Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
