PSY 452 - Health Psychology


4 credits
Explores the role of psychological and social factors in physical health, including the mind-body connection, stress, patient-provider relationships and communication, community development, and behavior change. Students will be introduced to the grant-writing process and learn how to design and propose a health intervention aimed to promote positive health outcomes. Project-based course. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above. PSY 225  and PSY 225L  recommended.
