SPAN 311 - Latino/Latina/Latinx Roots and Identity 4 credits Promotes an understanding of the Latino/Latina/Latinx experience, with emphasis on the development of oral and written expression. Cultural topics may include historical influences on contemporary Latinx art and media. Students practice the fundamentals of writing through expository writing. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite(s): SOU Spanish Placement Level 5 or SPAN 203 with a C- or better. Approved for General Education: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Capacity, University Studies - J Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
