ENG 381C - Early American Nature Writing 4 credits Exposes students to environmental writing of various literary genres and rhetorical forms. Surveys broadly defined “nature writing” prior to Thoreau’s Walden, and examines the relationships Americans have long had with the natural world. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
