BA 413 - Tourism Economics

Explores the role of tourism as an economic sector within different geo/political contexts and introduces learners to the economics of tourism destinations. Learners will discover the role of governance, and examine various funding models for tourism, as well as coordination mechanisms to support integrated tourism policies. Tourism supply and demand and their linkage to sustainability will be explored in local and international context. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above.
