CCJ 360 - Foundations of Restorative Justice 4 credits Introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of restorative justice and its application as an alternative to punitive retributive justice. Topics include the history and theory of restorative justice, contributions of traditional and indigenous approaches to justice, and applications for programs and policies. In this class, students learn through experiential learning, collaborative dialog, and group facilitation. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
