ART 415 - Recology Ashland Artist Residency

The Recology Ashland and Southern Oregon University Artist-in-Residence Program is designed to promote environmental awareness surrounding issues such as resource extraction, recycling, and waste stream reduction by supporting SOU student artists. Students will gain access to materials dropped off at the Valley View Transfer Station, have an on-site storage area for materials, and have access to the art studios at SOU to create artwork. Students are selected to participate in this opportunity through an annual application process reviewed by members of the SOU Art Faculty and the staff of Recology Ashland. Repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits.
