GSWS 222 - Gender, Race, and Food Studies 4 credits Using gender and race as lenses for understanding food studies, we explore the ways identities shape and are shaped by food. Centering an anti-racist framework, we critically examine how socio-historical contexts shape food injustice, and explore food movements that seek to imagine new futures. Approved for General Education: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Capacity, University Studies - F Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
