BI 348 - Evolution 4 credits Uses patterns and processes of evolutionary change as determined by mutation, selection, drift, and other mechanisms to explore the unifying principles of the biological sciences. Basic models of population genetics, phylogenetics, and systematics are used to build a conceptual framework for the study of living systems. Four hours of lecture. Prerequisite(s): BI 341 or instructor permission. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
