3 credits Explores the synthesis, isolation, and purification of organic and bioorganic compounds. Includes extensive use of chromatography and spectroscopy. One recitation and one 3-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): CH 335 and CH 340 (instructor permission required if any prerequisites are not met with a grade of C- or better). Corequisite(s): CH 341R and CH 336.
