ED 253 - Southern Oregon University Learn and Serve (SOULS)

Students explore their fields of interest and gain experience in the greater educational community. For each credit, participants spend thirty hours observing or working in a setting of their choice and complete the assigned coursework related to that practicum experience. Students in the Education Studies major must have a total of five practicum credits across five unique settings: preschool, primary elementary, upper elementary, SPED, and ELL. All other students should consult with their major academic advisor to determine the settings required for their degree. Repeatable.
