SPED 529b - Interventions in Academic Skills: Reading Methods (added endorsement)

Prepares students to extend their study of classroom teaching processes by integrating information and knowledge from other courses taken during the fall term into the study of learning to read and best practices in reading instruction. Candidates will develop skills in assessing and teaching students with dyslexia and learning disabilities. Emphasizes effective strategies for standards-based reading education, assessment, and creating effective learning experiences for diverse learners. Prerequisite(s): Intended for students pursuing the SPED Endorsement Certificate.
