BI 466L - Biology of Insects Laboratory

Includes examination of preserved specimens for comparison of external and internal morphology, development, adaptations, and general classification. Will examine insects in a variety of natural habitats, including forests, orchards, streams, and meadows during field trips. One 1-hour recitation and one 3-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): BI 221Z ,BI 223Z , BI 222Z . Corequisite(s): BI 466 .
