WR 123 - Composition III


4 credits
WR 123 continues the practice and refinement of research, writing, and presentation skills. Students develop sound arguments grounded on independent research, motivated by significant questions at the heart of meaningful issues. Students gather relevant sources and demonstrate the appropriate use of information and argumentation. WR 123 sharpens research and writing skills through the Final University Seminar Essay (FUSE), with practice developing and supporting a thesis generated in response to critical reading, analysis, and discussion. Prerequisite(s): WR 122Z  (with a C- or better) or equivalent.
Approved for General Education: This course meets the third requirement of General Education, Purposeful Learning Capacity.
