BI 140 - Biological Illustration

Biological Illustration explores the connection of science and art through scientific illustration. Uses a variety of artistic techniques to observe and document the natural world with accuracy and creativity. Introduces local organisms and analyzes historical and contemporary scientific illustrations. Culminates in the creation of artwork that communicates complex biological concepts.
