ED 457B - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment 3 credits Taught during the senior year of the Elementary Education program. A continuation of the complex design of standards-based curriculum and assessment to meet the diversity of needs in an elementary classroom. Emphasizes classroom teaching processes to help the beginning teacher develop a repertoire of strategies for instruction, planning, and assessment, while gaining an understanding of the Oregon State Standards. Emphasizes effective strategies for standards-based education and the implementation of the Oregon Education Act for the Twenty-First Century.Prerequisite(s): Completion of ED 457A with a B or better.
