ED 479 - Honors Human Relations 1-3 credits Describes a broad range of interactions, including the interpersonal interactions and intrapersonal orientations of each individual. Examines human relationships, classroom organization, and management—which help teacher-education students understand how to establish classroom climates that support learning. Addresses issues related to exceptionality, including mainstreaming and inclusion. Explores materials related to the characteristics and needs of at-risk youths and considers how schools can respond to these needs. Examines relationships among schools parents, and communities. Restricted to students in the Elementary Education with Honors program.
