3 credits Covers technical skills using scuba gear in the swimming pool and explores theory practice regarding physics, physiology, and safe diving practices. Students provide their own masks, snorkels, and fins. Asthma and other serious health conditions require a medical release. Students will have the opportunity to pursue an open water certification after successful completion of this course.Prerequisite(s): Adequate swimming ability as determined by the instructor
