TA 228 - Voice and Speech for the Stage III

Continues the study of the actor’s vocal instrument. Expands the artistic and eloquent language skills necessary for classical theatre. Focuses on developing vocal strength, flexibility, breath control, and a solid sound with ample resonance. Further develops heightened technical articulation skills through work on vowel and consonant action and pronunciation. Prerequisite(s): TA 227, and instructor consent. Restricted to majors.Corequisite(s): TA 223 and TA 283 .
