ED 252 - Introduction to Social Foundations in Education
3 credits Examines how schools function in today’s American democratic society. Exposes the potential discrepancies between the goals and the actual accomplishments of education. Explores the relationship between schools and the larger multicultural society, with emphasis on gender, social class, age, race, and ethnicity issues.
