PSY 473 - Introduction to Art Therapy

4 credits
Introduces the discipline of art therapy. Includes experiential work both in and out of class, as well as lecture, reading, writing, and exams. Introduces students to definitions and theories of art therapy, developmental art and psychology, experience with the image, and a few special populations with which art therapists work. Prerequisite(s): PSY 201 , PSY 202 .
