Analyzes the ability of various contemporary theoretical perspectives to interpret the changing nature of society. Covers neo-Marxism, postmodernism, feminism, and postcolonialism. May include such theorists as Gramsci, Foucault, Said, Spivak, Hill-Collins, Habermas, Giddens, Bourdieu, or others Prerequisite(s): SOC 204  and SOC 370
