4 credits Continues development of the actor’s physical skills. Special emphasis is on exploring different movement philosophies in conjunction with improvisational movement exercises as they relate to the process of acting, creating a character, and physicalization of text. Draws from techniques by Laban, Chekhov, Decroux, and others. Prerequisite(s): TA 222 and instructor consent. Restricted majors.
