SOC 327 - Quantitative Data Analysis 4 credits Introduces students to univariate, bivariate, and multivariate techniques for analyzing quantitative data using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Provides hands-on experience with General Social Survey data, U.S. Census data, and World Health Organization data, posing precise research questions that can be examined empirically with quantitative data. Prerequisite(s): MTH 243 or EC 232 ; SOC 301 and SOC 326 ; completion of lower division social science University Studies requirements, or instructor consent.
