SPED 509B - Practicum: Fall Experience

Fall practica continues with field experiences from September Experience. While candidates will spend the majority of the time in their primary placement, a concerted amount of time will be spent in alternate settings (e.g., those candidates with primary placements in resource room settings will spend time in self-contained settings). Within the primary placement, candidates will begin to engage in one-on-one and small group instruction, become familiar with the learning environment, and begin to collect information related to the work sample.
