ART 483A - Senior Project: Capstone

Senior project for BA, BS and BFA studio art majors. The year-long capstone covers information for best professional practices together with planning, executing and documenting a career-oriented project to be completed by the end of the 3-term series. New information is presented in each of the three terms (A, B and C) which together with the project integrates the knowledge and skills of the discipline. Project examples include internships; creative or research projects, exhibitions, or some other forms of presentation of work. The capstone includes the creation of a professional portfolio. The final capstone report is submitted to and kept in the Art and Art History office where it will be accessible to students and faculty. Prerequisite(s): ART 300 and senior standing.
