ARTM 310 - Museum Practices I

2 credits
Students learn basic skills focused on professional museum standards and practices in the handling, preparation, design, display and storage of artwork and artifacts. Students are introduced to the position descriptions and requirements needed to obtain internships, entry level opportunities and possible career paths within art, anthropology, science, history, natural history and cultural museums and galleries. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
