ENG 341 - Class, Culture, and Feminism in Victorian and Edwardian England 4 credits Examines novels, poems, autobiographies, and corresponding historical and visual texts to gain insight into the lives of British women between 1832 and 1914. Using a feminist lens, the course surveys Victorian women’s writing and creativity in the context of various movements for political, artistic, and social reform. Approved for University Studies (Integration - Strand J). Prerequisite(s): ENG 298 or completion of writing requirement in major department. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
