ENG 280 - Public Reasoning: Introductory Topics in Rhetoric

Focuses on the ways in which classical rhetorical theories have relevance for contemporary students and contemporary issues and problems. This is an introductory rhetoric course in which students understand rhetoric in its symbolic dimensions as it relates to public discourse and literary genres.
