MTH 112 - Precalculus II: Elementary Functions 4 credits In-depth study of exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs and applications. Topics include Laws of Logarithms, triangle trigonometry, circular functions and graphs, inverse trigonometric functions, and trigonometric equations. Intended as preparation for Calculus I (MTH 251 ). Approved for University Studies (Quantitative Reasoning). Prerequisite(s): MTH 111 or appropriate SOU placement level. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
