The minor in Native American Studies emphasizes the culture, history, art, and literature of the Indigenous peoples of the United States and beyond.

Requirements for the Minor

A minimum of 24 credits, 12 of which must be upper division and 4 practicum.

Note: An NAS focused practicum taken as 409 in the student’s major may substitute for the NAS practicum requirement with the Native American Studies advisor’s consent.
