36 credits of the Acting Sequence

The Acting Sequence consists of Acting, Voice, Movement I-III (9 courses taken in one year as corequisites).  Students can declare the BFA with a Performance Concentration only after successful completion of the first term of the Acting Sequence with a 3.0 minimum GPA in those classes. Students must maintain a B- in ALL Acting Sequence courses in order to progress in the curriculum.

20 credits of upper division elective performance classes

Upper Division Elective Performance Classes can consist of any combination of:

• TA 370 - Topics in Performance 4 credits (repeatable)
• TA 399 - Special Studies 1 to 18 credits (repeatable)
• TA 421 - Auditioning I 4 credits
• TA 422 - Auditioning II 4 credits
• TA 424 - Film Acting 4 credits
• TA 425 - Advanced Film Acting 4 credits

BFA in Performance Thesis

• TA 403 - Thesis 1 to 9 credits
